I believe that a healthy lifestyle isn't a quick fix, it's a lifelong journey. I believe in loving and accepting yourself for who you are in the moment. Food should be more than a way to change the number on a scale, and exercise should be enjoyable, not a means to an end. Optimum wellness is achieved with a sustainable balance of movement, sound nutrition, restful sleep and mindfulness. This is exactly what I coach my clients through, aligning each pillar of wellness with their unique lifestyle and goals, one step at a time.

Better than any pill, powder or latest fad diet is your self-determination. Quick fixes and short-term changes will not build lean muscle, sturdy bones, a healthy gut or any other sustainable health goal. Results take time and daily commitment. Make a promise to your future self to build healthier habits to support your body as you age.
Forming a new habit (or breaking down an old one) requires a highly personal approach. With the right strategy, enough time and repetition new habits can be formed. Starting small with low-effort behaviors such as drinking more water or taking your vitamins daily can boost your confidence. Small successes lead to a bigger motivation to practice self-care in the future.
Countless hours at a desk job, long hours commuting, carting kids to sports and social activities to finally crashing to watch a movie or read a book. A lack of activity can leave you feeling more tired and can contribute to muscle aches and joint pain.
Stress is stress is stress. Long days coupled with career and family challenges can leave you feeling exhausted. Add in poor sleep and stress can be exacerbated. If you have a short fuse, a lack of patience, and feeling anxious you may be over-stressed.
Following the latest restrictive diet that lacks sound nutrition can deprive our bodies of key micro and macro nutrients. Without proper nutrition weight loss/managament can be hampered. Many popular diets come and go with pounds lost and gained.
What type of health coaching do you provide?
I help clients to develop and implement lifestyle changes for improved health, fitness and overall well-being at every stage of life. I am a certified Menopause Health and Fitness Specialist that can help mid-life women age gracefully. My approach includes functional movement for better joint mobility and strength merged with sound nutrition and a balanced life for a truly holistic lifestyle transformation.
The Stay Well Coaching online platform allows for secure messaging, helpful tips, food and mood blogging accessed from your computer, phone or tablet.
How often are you in touch?
Each client receives a weekly phone call/video chat to discuss unique wins and challenges from the previous week. The call ends with agreed upon SMART goals to build healthier habits. I am available for messaging throughout the week as well for additional support and motivation.
How long do most clients need this type of coaching?
Depending on what your goals are and how much accountability is needed, it takes a minimum of 3 months (possibly longer) to start seeing progress and to establish healthier lifestyle habits.
Can you help me with exercise and to learn more about the benefits of strength training?
This is my specialty! I discovered strength training at 30 and it changed my life and my body composition. I pride myself on being a trainer who watches form like a hawk for safe instruction.
I haven't exercised before, will this be an issue in meeting my goals?
I work with everyone from a beginner to exercise to active participant of all ages. My specialty is catering your exercise regimen to your current fitness level and abilities with a progressive plan for gaining stability, strength and endurance.
